Prototila auki
Kuten osa jo varmaan tietääkin, päätimme avata Hub Helsingin prototilan laajempaan käyttöön viime viikon onnistuneen työpajan jälkeen. Haluamme nyt kutsua sinut mukaan luomaan merkityksellisiä yhteyksiä, kasvattamaan ruohonjuuritason toimintaa ja nauttimaan työn teosta paremman maailman eteen Hubin prototilassa Aleksanterinkatu 16-18:ssa.
Tila on käytössäsi arkisin klo 9-17. Jos sinulla on tarvetta tilalle näiden aikojen ulkopuolella, myös se on neuvoteltavissa. Meillä on jo nyt useita tapahtumia tulossa (lisää tietoa tulossa!) ja myös sinun ideasi ovat tervetulleita.
Toistaiseksi emme peri maksua tilankäytöstä yksittäisten henkilöiden osalta. Tila on, ja tulee kenties aina olemaan, työn alla. Tämä tarkoittaa että se on vielä paikoittain hieman rosoinen ja tekemistä riittää. Mutta tämä tarkoittaa myös sitä, että sinä voit jättää jälkesi tilaan panostamalla sinun aikaasi ja taitojasi luomaan tila josta me kaikki nautimme ja jota käytämme.
Koska tilaa on rajoitetusti ja haluamme kasvattaa yhteisöä kestävällä pohjalla, arvostaisimme jos voisit ilmoittaa mikäli aiot tuoda muita ihmisiä mukaan. Nyrkkisääntönä voit pyytää mukaan kenet tahansa johon luotat ja jonka näkisit mielenkiintoisena henkilönä tuoda mukaan Hub-yhteisöön.
Prototilan osoite on Aleksanterinkatu 16-18, käynti sisäpihalta. Pyrimme pitämään ovet auki klo 9-17, mutta mikäli jostain syystä jäät oven taakse, Hub-isännän tavoittaa numerosta +358 44 352 6634.
Loimme myös sähköpostilistan, jota kautta tulemme kertomaan enemmän tilassa järjestettävistä tapahtumista, eli kannattaa liittyä!

As some of you may know, after a successful workshop events last week, we decided to open the Hub Helsinki proto space for use. We’re now inviting you to join us in creating meaningful connections, cranking up the grassroots-level action, and enjoying working together for a better world from the Hub proto-space at Aleksanterinkatu 16-18.
The space is yours to use from 9am to 5pm on all weekdays. If you have need of the space at other hours, that is also negotiable. We’ve got a number of events lined up already (more info coming soon!) and we welcome your ideas on that front as well.
For the time being there will be no charge for the use of the space for individuals working. Consider the space a work-in-progress. This means that it’s still rough around the edges and there’s plenty to do. But it also means that you can leave your mark by donating some of your time and skills into making it a space we can all enjoy and use.
As the space is limited and we would like to grow the community in a sustainable way, we would appreciate if you would let us know if you plan on bringing other people along. The general rule of thumb is that you’re welcome to bring in anyone who you feel you can trust and whom you think would be an interesting person to have in the Hub community.
The address of the proto space is Aleksanterinkatu 16-18. We will aim to keep the door open during business hours, but in case you end up being stuck behind the door, you can reach the host on the official Hub mobile at +358 44 352 6634.
We also created a mailing list, that will be used as the primary channel for getting posted on what’s happening in the space, so do sign up!
